My work uses a very different
Stained Glass Technique called Glass Mosaic. The pieces of glass
I use are small, often tiny, and equivalent
to paint placed by the stroke of a brush. Many different textures
are natural to the fine, hand-rolled glasses I use. The tiny glass
pieces, surrounded by a thin line of grout, create additional texture
much as brushwork does with paint. That is why I say what I do
is like painting with glass.
